Osaka Gakugei's KATA

This spring, Osaka Gakugei High School won the double championship in girls' team kata
and girls' individual kata (the fifth time in total for girls' team kata) at the National High
School Championships in April. In addition, Osaka Gakugei High School once again showed
its traditional strength as a "kata-gakugei high school" in kata events, winning second place
in both boys' team kata and boys' individual kata. Also, at the Mirai-kun Cup All-Chūchū
Selection held in March, junior high school students won the first and third places in kata. This year, more than 110 members of the high school and junior high school teams are practicing daily under the direction of Ei Kondo and his team of coaches with excellent coaching skills. We once again explored the secret of Osaka Gakugei High School's strength in kata.
