Tenri University Karate Team Its unwavering tradition

The first champion of the male individual kumite competition - 60kg class at the 1st All Japan Karatedo Weight Class Championships held in June this year was Tenri University's Hiromu Hashimoto (4th year, captain). His victory gave Tenri University its first national championship in a long time.This year, 44 members of the team are practicing daily under the leadership of Director Chiaki Tanaka and a team of coaches with excellent coaching skills.
Many members join the club every year, and from among them, the club has been ranked high in the Kansai area and All-Japan for many years.We interviewed the Tenri University Karate Team, which provides an environment in which students can concentrate on both their literary and military skills.
