Some athletes are able to make the same move at the critical moment, while others
are unable to do so. In high school competitions, especially in team kumite, the ability
to score points at critical moments directly affects the outcome of the match itself.
In this feature, we will explain the techniques used to win the Momotaro Cup and the
National High School Tournament this year by looking at photos taken with a highspeed
continuous shooting camera.
