Representatives from each prefecture compete to be the best in Japan in each grade of kata and kumite.

At the 40th High School Selection Tournament held in March, the Seibi High School Karate Club was very successful,
with Hisami Nakaji winning the female individual Kata championship, the female Kumite team winning second place,
and Sara Terazawa winning second place in the female individual Kumite in the +59kg weight class.
The Seibi High School karate club has been in existence for four years this April, and the Kata coach is Yuka Tokioka, and the Kumite coach is Akiyoshi Yamaguchi,
    the representative of Wadokai-Mino.
Seibi High School's Hisami Nakaji and Ayo Kawai were the first to be accepted to the 2021 JKF Junior National Team. This time,
we went to Seibi High School and interviewed their karate club. Ken Watanabe, a junior high school student from Wadokai-Mino,
who also passed the JKF Junior National Team for the first time, was also training with them.
