Prestigious Dojo Practice Menus Exploring Toseikan in Osaka Prefecture

This month we introduce the Japan Karate Association, Moroguchi Branch, Toseikan (Tsurumi-ku, Osaka). Since its establishment, Toseikan has been producing athletes who have competed not only in JKA national tournaments, but also in JKF and many other tournaments. Currently, under the direction of Seigo Ikeda sensei, the dojo's director, approximately 80 students train at the dojo on a daily basis. In addition to teaching at the dojo, Ikeda Sensei is currently a member of the Osaka Karate-do Federation's training department, contributing to the improvement of the level of competition in Osaka Prefecture as a whole. In this interview, Ikeda Sensei introduced us to his daily training at Toseikan, focusing on a thorough and repetitive practice menu, including kumite pattern exercises that simulate real-life match situations.
