Iryna Zaretska, two-time consecutive World Championships champion and Olympic medalist queen, held a kumite seminar in Tokyo in October 2022. 
The seminar was a great opportunity for the world's most successful kumite practitioner to share her kumite philosophy, training methods, and "ironclad rules for ever-victorious kumite" with the public. 
The seminar was filmed, and JKFan has been introducing the rules since the last issue. 
This time, the focus is on "reaction. By controlling these two reactions

Iryna Zaretska

Ukrainian representative of Azerbaijan. Born on March 4, 1996. 

She started karate at the age of 3. At first she learned Kyokushin Karate, and from the age of 7 she learned Traditional Karate. Currently, under coach Denis Morozov, she is ranked number one in the world in the female kumite -68kg division, having won two consecutive World Championships and 11 Premier League titles. 
She won a silver medal in the women's kumite +61kg category at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
