In this series we talk to the teachers who studied direct under the Founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba.

In this episode, we talk to Hiroshi Isoyama Shihan. He joined the Aikido Shuren Dojo in Iwama city (now Kasama city) at the age of twelve.

He devoted himself to the Founder who at the time was living in Iwama practicing a life of unity between martial art and agriculture.

He would later teach Aikido to the U.S Army and Japanese Self-defense forces in Chitose Hokkaido.And have been engaged in the spread of Aikido for many years.Currently, he is helping bring up the next generation at Dojos such as Toride Aikikai.

In part one he talks about how he started Aikido at the age of twelve and what the Dojo was like at the time.

In this second part filmed at the Aikikai Ibaraki Branch Dojo, Isoyama Shihan talks about his training in Iwama and his memories of the Founder. As well as his experience teaching Aikido to the U.S. Military Police
