In September 2023, the International Aikido Federation hosted the 1st International Young Adult Seminar at the Former Butokuden Hall, the oldest martial arts demonstration hall in Japan.
About 200 people from Japan and abroad participated in the three-day event. Everybody was sweating in the lingering summer heat while practicing with eager.
The participants of the seminar all hold a dan degree and are between the ages of 18 and 30 years old. This was the first time that the International Aikido Federation held an international seminar for young people under the age of 30 years old.
