The 44th All Japan Iaido Tournament, 7-dan Division 5 features the second round matches between Toshikatsu Ikeda (Tokyo) and Toyozumi Ishii (Oita), Masao Sahara (Okayama) and Fumitaka Katsuse (Shizuoka), Kenichi Sakamoto (Tokushima) and Hiroyuki Akiba (Chiba), and Sadao Matsuhashi (Hokkaido) and Kenryo Nakaima (Okinawa).
